In 2009 Burow launched a line of quilts based on the topography of city parks and urban landscapes. These customized quilts bring together the line work of topographical maps along with the tradition and elegance of widecloth cotton quilts. These heirloom quality quilts reference the topography of specific landscapes and places which often hold a specific memory or meaning to the person who has commissioned the work. The work sells as either decorative wall hangings or functional quilts for the bedroom.
Custom designed quilts can be made as pillows, throw quilts, bedding or custom size and costs are based on the material and detail of topographic design work. Liz works with each client to develop the layout and line-work for each TopoQuilt.

24″ x 24″ pillow- $100-$200
34″ x 42″ crib quilt- $200-$350
50″ x 60″ throw quilt- $450-$600
85″ x 110″ queen quilt- $1600-$2600
